Whether you left in protest, platform anxiety, frustration about the changes or sheer exhaustion — this community is a welcoming orientation hub with a discord-inspired atmosphere that is designed to help you transition. Switching platforms can be overwhelming. That’s why we offer: * Step-by-step transition assistance * Feature comparison and discussion * Information about the founder of Root (jessie) * Custom bot assistance (apps will be allowed soon) * “Where is X feature?” screenshots and support * Platform frustration venting channel This community also includes advertising where communities can promote without a cooldown, provided that they are polite about it. We support community cross-promotion, partner opportunities, partner event broadcasts and more! We believe rebuilding communities is easier when the internet can find each other. The staff are friendly, chat is very active, a really good place for Discord refugees to go to. They even got a Discord to Root guide! :D 10/10

As a Discord refugee myself, this was an awesome find! When I first joined, we talked about our concerns regarding Discord, and even gushed on the things we're loving about Root. Very friendly community, and the founder Key is also easy to talk to.
