Roblox

Loved it

Roblox Corporation has responded to some concerns by launching updates intended to boost child safety, and it employs about 3,000 moderators. In 2024, "social hangout" games were restricted to players over 13 years old, and the platform implemented parental controls automatically blocking direct messages to users under 13. The platform implemented a rehaul of its friend system with age verification through facial recognition or through a government-issued ID. Additionally, in 2025, social hangout games featuring private locations such as bedrooms and bathrooms were restricted to users aged 17 and above. Roblox also allows parents to disable in-app microtransactions and limit which games their children can play

Roblox Is Officially Green

cant it is 16+ and I need to verify my age. I understand Roblox is doing this to comply with the laws but I shouldn't need to be showing a platform my face to be able to have access. This and Roblox+ subscription requirement to update and upload games did it for me. Roblox is genuinely on the lowest possible point in its history and it amazes me how people is still playing and giving away their identity only to have access to it. Let it reset. 🥱

This post was mostly in response to this, which I was recommended on It implies that introducing children to the game is a grave mistake and does not elaborate on what exactly about Roblox makes it that way. 🤯

Question:
Roblox is an online multiplayer platform

Roblox hosts a variety of different game types/genres

Roblox is also like the internet. You are never far from pornography or other inappropriate content for children. If parents aren't monitoring and engaging with their kids when they play, then it is very likely they will see and hear things they shouldn't. 🤗
